2017 Success Safari
Salmon Falls Watershed Collaborative

9:00 AM to 2:45 PM
The Salmon Falls Collaborative Summer “Safari” is a chance to explore the great work being done in the watershed to protect the Salmon Falls River as a source of drinking water. The Safari this year will feature great speakers who will present their ideas and work to improve stormwater management, best forestry practices, prioritize land conservation, and improve land use development decisions in the watershed. There will be several field visits and a catered lunch – yes, it’s a free lunch!

PREP is part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Estuary Program, a joint program between local, state and federal agencies established under the Clean Water Act with the goal of protecting and enhancing nationally significant estuarine resources. PREP is supported in part by an EPA matching grant and is housed within the School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering at the University of New Hampshire.
