A shot looking upstream in the Salmon Falls River at the newly improved Mast Point Dam Park in Somersworth. It’s worth a visit now that Timberland employees as part of their annual Servapalooza Volunteer Event built 8 picnic benches, a kayak rack and a stone dust trail along the banks of the river. Coming soon will be a boat launch! Yay for Somersworth!

PREP is part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Estuary Program, a joint program between local, state and federal agencies established under the Clean Water Act with the goal of protecting and enhancing nationally significant estuarine resources. PREP is supported in part by an EPA matching grant and is housed within the School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering at the University of New Hampshire.
