  • What: Pecha Kucha Portsmouth “Water” Event
Pecha Kucha night is a worldwide phenomenon started in Japan. It’s pretty amazing — definitely a “see it to believe it” sort of event. Eight speakers are given 20 slides with no words and only 20 seconds a slide to tell their story all focused around the theme of water.
  • When: 6:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Where: Portsmouth Gaslight Night Club –Market St., Portsmouth, NH

As a follow up to our State of Our Estuaries Conference on Friday December 7th, and continuing throughout 2013, PREP is hosting a series of roll-out events through the support of our partners in an effort to educate and engage our community on the issues impacting the health of The Great Bay and Hampton-Seabrook Estuaries.

The goals of these events are to:

  • Foster greater community understanding
  • Allow those who are unable to attend Friday’s main conference a chance to interact with the data and get their questions answered
  • Incite action towards solutions throughout the communities in the watershed
  • Empower citizens to do something in their own backyards to help

If you would like to host a SOOE roll-out event in your community, please contact Jill Farrell at 603.862.0724.
