On August 22nd PREP along with our awesome partners at The Nature Conservancy welcomed the folks from Proud Pour to the docks at Adam’s Point. Proud Pour pairs wines with solutions to local environmental problems. Their first wine, The Oyster, is a Sauvignon Blanc that restores 100 wild oysters per bottle. It also happens to be the perfect pair to your oyster or seafood plate. PREP and TNC are partnering with Proud Pour to bring The Oyster wine to New Hampshire to benefit the Great Bay Estuary Oyster Restoration Project. So VERY soon you’ll be able to buy the wine locally and know you’re supporting Great Bay oyster restoration while you sit back and sip! Stay tuned to this newsletter and PREP’s Facebook to find out where you can buy this delicious wine!  #CheersToChange.

PREP is part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Estuary Program, a joint program between local, state and federal agencies established under the Clean Water Act with the goal of protecting and enhancing nationally significant estuarine resources. PREP is supported in part by an EPA matching grant and is housed within the School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering at the University of New Hampshire.
