Workshop: Natural Area Mindfulness

Renew, reflect, recharge

As a municipal official your life has many challenges and pressures. Join us for a chance to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with the natural world. Thomas Hudson, a certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide, will assist us in reconnecting with Great Bay and its many wonders and services. Leave refreshed and invigorated to renew our collective work, making New Hampshire municipalities successful and resilient. Mindfulness has many benefits, most of which are talked about in the personal realm. Lower stress, greater self-control, higher level of engagement, greater emotional awareness, increased empathy, and awareness of others, etc. All of these personal gains do transfer to one's career and can lead to greater effectiveness in our chosen fields.
