Every five years, PREP produces a State of Our Estuaries report that examines environmental and social indicators of estuarine health, such as bacteria levels, nutrient concentrations, toxic contaminant levels, abundance of shellfish, and land use in the coastal watershed.
The 2023 State of Our Estuaries Conference promises to be an exciting day connecting with partners across the Piscataqua Region Watershed. The day will begin with an overview of the latest science related to our watershed and the Great Bay and Hampton-Seabrook Estuaries, but it won’t end there. Science is important but perhaps more so is our ability to collaborate to protect these invaluable resources. Time will be dedicated to exploring ways we can better collaborate as a community to protect the health of the Piscataqua Region Watershed.
