MiTeJo Campground Expansion
Milton Conservation Commission
The Milton Conservation Commission is asking for assistance in protecting Northeast Pond from a proposed expansion of the MiTeJo Campground, after a denied special exception by the Milton Zoning Board, and appeal to the Strafford Superior Court in February (details here). The U.S. Forest Service published a study in 2009 that stated the Salmon Falls Piscataqua watershed is projected to experience the most change in water quality as a result of increases in housing density on private forest lands (more here).
